Thanks for your note. On your first point, the video versions I saw were plainly spliced, but I will take a look at any authenticated uncut version of the tape. In the meantime, here is the link to a video from the Philly ACORN office noting that they called the police after O'Keefe behaved suspiciously at their office: [http://rawstory.com/2010/01/fox-analyst-acorn-suit-merit/ video link at bottom of page]. On your second point, as someone who has studied federal wiretapping rules and history in great depth, the facts in the sworn FBI affidavit plainly describes an attempt to gain access to the wires related to the Senator's phones, with O'Keefe instrumentally involved. Here's [http://is.gd/76BIP the link]. It's not unreasonable to fear wiretapping or some other tampering, especially with published reports that one of the plotters was outside the building with a "listening device."

The pressure to make exorbitant profits is resulting in long, expensive and sometimes fruitless fights for individual insurance policy holders. I'm in the process of fighting Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona to cover my c-section to deliver my daughter in August of 2010. Due to a change in the BCBSAZ defined "complications of pregnancy" as of October 1, 2008 my cesarean section isn't being covered because BCBSAZ no longer considers "fetal distress" as a complication of pregnancy. Something has to be done to insure that patients and their health care providers can make the best health care decisions and not worry about financial ruin due to insurance policy technicalities. Spliced video footage huh? I guess you just failed to watch the version with the time visible the entire time. But what I find most interesting is that you have already accused them of bugging a phone, which seems odd since they haven't even been charged with that.

I'm not a climatologist by any means, but the earth has been around for billions of years and I have a hard time imagining that only two centuries of human involvement can alter that course. I don't think that scientists are looking at other possible causes or even if the phenomenon truly exists. I'd like to see some hard evidence before they started changing building codes, the green police, and cap and trade really fuck up our infrastructure.
