The Congress is an overbloated, disgusting, opportunistic, destructive and worhtless segment of our society that is so corrupt that it cannot be redeemed. Senator Dodd will undoubtedly go to the hightest bidder when he "reires" and is so corrupt it is more than merrely nauseating. I am so sick of these overprvileged and worthless pieces of humanoid waste that I wish they would simply get paid off from the U.S. Treasury and just go away before they do any more harm. We should just pay them off and let them go home before they destroy the nation. More than any radical Moslem terrorist, any member of Congress like Dodd or those of his ilk have done great harm to our nation. The Democrats including but especially Obama are so disappointing that it makes any person who wasted a precious vote on them want to cry. Go away and stop pretending you are Democrats. Stop it right now. You are dishonoring the memory of those of us who had parents who served in the New Deal. You are dishonoring their memory and making their work completely meaningless. Go home and steal from there, you worhtless, pretentious scum.

I am a U.S. Marine, and I'm just blown away at how the government is handling this hole thing. I have not heard of but one attempt on how they are going to fix this, and its been alost 2 weeks, Since it has started there have been sighting of oil on the east coast in North Carolina, of oil bubbles. How B.P. is still even allowed to pump oil around the U.S. just shows you how the government is owned by the oil companies and its money.

I reckon, some kind of regulation should always be there. The idea/theory/philosophy of Laisses Faire is all good in an ideal world. But practically it is virtually impossible to follow in its entirety. If we look at countries who have embraced free trade along with some good regulatory guidelines like India and China, we see that whilst countries all over the world were having recession -- these two countries still had 6.5 % plus GDP growth in last fiscal and are expecting 8% plus growth for the next fiscal. So............. I support what Lincoln and Dodd are proposing about regulating banks to some extent.
