There is no meaningful difference in exposure from smoking low-tar and regular brands, and therefore no difference in disease risk.

Way back in 1967 I did a paper for my high school class about the effects of tobacco on humans. Even then nicotine was known to cause Lung Cancer and increase the users need for "Another smoke". My question is why hasn't our government stepped in and shut down there "Drug labs?" At the lease they should be forced to clean up their ace and use non-altered tobacco.

This is a very interesting subject. I understand that in the UK there are very strict rules on how they teach this subject in schools. Al Core's movie an inconvenient truth has been banned from being played due to the shonkey spin and bogus science discussed. While I think kids should be made aware of the environment we shouldn't be selling them false science just to influence them.

I heard that the spill in the Gulf was just a drop in the occean when compared to the yearly oil spills that BP cause in the Niger Delta in Africa. BP has been a millionaire maker company for decades but the ruinous way they treat the planet is almost heartbreaking. Their executives have probably never even seen an oil spill let alone helped try and clear one up.
