Go to this site, read all the record lows for 2009 and convince yourself there is a big global warming/climate change taking place. Then come back and convince me. http://www.iceagenow.com/Record_Lows_2009.htm

Wendell, I despair. Somehow if it's guns or flames and billowing smoke, we lower the flag to half-mast and have solemn ceremonies. If ten times the people perish every day because of lack of health coverage, we ignore this terrible slow-motion, silent massacre. 360,000 Americans are dead since 9-11 for no other determining factor than that they had no health coverage. (People just like them in age, weight, gender, disease, amount of smoking etc *with* health coverage lived. http://tinyurl.com/l7cy8u ) This emergency hasn't penetrated the White House or Congressional hearts. These ruined families are not comforted or given grief counseling. We need serious emergency health reform *now* -- no triggers. 19,000 more dead by Easter. 28,670 slain by the next 4th of July. Slain by our national arrogance and stupidity and cupidity. Somehow you must talk to the President.

I think that the point of this article is that most people acknowledge Climate Change, but they are not sure how to go about solving it. Ergo, a one world government will then be required to dictate the emission limitations to each member country.

I knew a person who signed himself as 'Bertram Von Munster' in 1997 while working in San Diego at Qualcomm. At that time he was very conservative politically, and had copyrighted his name (an unusual step, I believe). He tried to dominate chat on line, and was ruthless to those who disagreed with him. He promoted a far right agenda. I wonder who he really is, and the arc of his life. If anyone has information try to comment. The web has been pretty well swept of items relating to him. I can't say why.

When it comes to revamping everything that has to do with energy, food production, clothing, heating and industry, we need to look at it seriously what is the cost. If you include the major source of CO2 which is water vapor, man's total output of the "poison" gas is 0.28%. If we cut our energy use by 1/2 that means a reduction of 0.14% of total CO2. Think about it, 600 years ago we had much greater warming than in the last 50 years and we survived. The solution? carbon trading that will make many people like Al Gore billions of dollars, double our energy costs and have no impact on climate. I remember in the 1980's Ted Danson warning on TV that if we don't do something about global warming, Manhattan would be under water in 10 years, yes by 1995. I believe it's still dry.
