Our economy is slowly dying, it is kept alive artificially. No one is proposing a solution because no one has the slightest idea of why it is happening and many have vested interest in the present system. However an objective observation of the phenomenon can help us understand it and provide us with an innovative solution. Of course we can't solve the problem with the tools that brought us there in the first place and we need a new ideology. - Do you feel that your ideology pushed you to make decisions that you wish you had not made? - Well, remember that what an ideology is, is a conceptual framework with the way people deal with reality. Everyone has one. You have to -- to exist, you need an ideology. The question is whether it is accurate or not. And what I'm saying to you is, yes, I found a flaw. I don't know how significant or permanent it is, but I've been very distressed by that fact. - You found a flaw in the reality...(!!!???) - Flaw in the model that I perceived is the critical functioning structure that defines how the world works, so to speak. - In other words, you found that your view of the world, your ideology, was not right, it was not working? - That is -- precisely. No, that's precisely the reason I was shocked, because I had been going for 40 years or more with very considerable evidence that it was working exceptionally well.

I have just returned from working in Greenland, where whale is a staple part of the diet - it is not killed for comercial use, only local consumption, the area where I was working was very barren and volcanic, no chance to go shoot birds, rabbits or grow fresh fruits and veg. Whale, seal and fish and muskox are a very large part of the local diet. All other meat, fruits, veg etc is very expensive to buy as it has to be shipped in - the local wage is not high, so what would you expect the people to do. I agree commercial whaling should be banned, but don't judge everyone who eats whale - for some it;s not a choice

Well, there was so much talk months ago about the Greece crisis and probably a lot of people made bets on it getting better and then the EU something very smart in a long time - got together a huge aid package and even more for similar cases and the future. The result could be seen a couple of months later as a lot of big hedge funds reported severe losses. Shows that not always the speculators win, especially against the house, which EU is regarding the Greece and Euro. And now, of course, nobody talks about the Greece anymore.

It's always important to check out the facts of a story before automatically believing it to be true. Snopes, http://snopes.com/ is a good source to get an unbiased, accurate assessment of a story.

Islam and Christianity are as far apart as the East is from the West. Ask a Muslim to die FOR you. Ask a TRUE Christian to do the same. You will get RADICALLY different responses.

If Islam is "built" from "love and respect" I ask you why are there no ABOVE GROUND churches in Saudi Arabia? Why are citizens of the U.S., who, when sharing the gospel of John in Arabic/English with Muslims as they were LEAVING a Muslim festival, being detained and in some cases arrested?

Ask a Muslim who converted to Christianity if his way of life has radically changed and you will hear of persecution, inability to find work and other indignities. In some places it's not as "obvious" but there is always an underlying contempt for a Muslim convert.

Educate yourself some more. I'm tired of people talking about Islam being a "religion of peace."
