It is a big deal when viewers are told this is "news" when it is really a disguised advertising pitch. This is essentially lying to viewers, and trading on the credibility of the news programs.
I salute the journalists who, in a time of economic uncertainty, are willing to take such a bold step in response to their conscience. The term heroes comes to mind.
Your item on Honda "buying" the Rose Bowl is misleading and NOT NEW News....it has had a "presenting sponsor" since 1999 when it was The Rose Bowl, presented by AT&T.

big deal. this is really a non-event - a packaged piece about new GM cars. If the news stattions want to run it, let them. If they dont who cares.
