After months of repeating lies about "death panels" in the health reform bill, and just days after giving an interview on Fox News in which she called the health care reform measure "nonsensical" and a "comprehensive takeover of the health care system" that is "not supported by the public," Sarah Palin has changed her tune. Citing her son Trig, who has Down Syndrome, Palin told an audience in Waco, Texas that now she thinks health care reform deserves a chance to succeed. Palin said, "I've always said that kids with special needs deserve special help. And if the recent health care legislation can help kids like Trig, it deserves a chance." Some Tea Party members accused Palin of "flip-flopping" on health care reform. Others believe she is making an effort to expand her base and appear more moderate in preparation for a presidential run in 2012. Polls have shown overwhelming support for protecting children with pre-existing conditions from discrimination by health insurers. **April Fool**

Sarah Palin's reversal on health care reform
Actually, the original report made no less sense than many other things this lady is saying. We are still sane either way.
