A careful examination of the information on the websites reveal that the virus used for these genetic alterations is the califlower mosaic virus, which contains a domain within its sequence that can undergo recombinant transformation. What this means in simplier terms is that these genetically altered foods are potential time bombs and have the ability to mutate and depending on several factors can be detrimental in more than one way. GM foods ingested by humans already having HIV or viral hepatitis can result in the mutational generation of a more virulent form of the pathogen already in the host. This can occur in animal populations too. Mutational changes can also occur in the these transgenic plants from contact with different virus' from the environment or by chemical activation from pesticides, etc.
Genetically altered plants are believed by some scientist to be responsible for the decline of bee populations important for pollinating plants. If this is true, then hundreds of acres of these GM plants could eventually lead to the destruction of all plant life.
This reminds me that Monsanto and other giant seed conglomerates have built what is being called the Doomsday Seed Vault in Norway. The money to build this high security bunker came from Bill Gates and the Rockefeller Foundation. Is it just coincidence that the same company that got caught hiding the harmful effects from their GM products have also stored over 300 million seeds from all over the world? A press release stated that the seeds are being preserved for the future. Monsanto has been terrorizing small farmers in North Dakota and across the US taking them to court on fabricated charges of stealing their technology by replanting seeds that were saved from previous crops. They are destroying lives and families in the other countries by getting poor farmers already struggling to buy and plant their GM crops telling them they will make a fortune. These small farmers borrow money from banks owned by the same group and wind up killing themselves because of the debt they have accumulated from crops that didn't deliver. They are monsters and a disgrace to humanity. Instead of using proven technology that stops our dependency on gas and oil, they have lowered the gas prices to divert our attention away from the important issues. She has been an obvious agent of the Bush administration, acting to gain support for the administration, far and above any concerns for military personnel. Support for military personnel was just a means to an end. She finished the evisceration of the ethical work force in the American Forces Information Service that her friend Victoria Clarke started. Clarke was installed by the White House as the Asst. Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs over the the first choice of then Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld. Barber came into DoD as Clarke's special assistant.
I figured they'd pull this at some point, which is why I uploaded a copy to YouTube so it could be preserved for posterity.
